Trials underway
Approximately 80% of patients with Crohn's disease need surgery during their lifetime. Recurrence of Crohn's disease after surgery has been linked to the gut bacteria. This phase 1 single blinded, placebo-controlled trial is currently underway and investigating whether Fecal Microbiota Transplant after surgery can prevent recurrence of Crohn's disease.
