ACT’s 2020 Virtual Race team has new opportunities to participate at any fitness level!
You can run (or walk) on ACT's team for free. Really!ACT remains a charity partner of the virtual Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon.ACT race team members are welcome but not required to register or participate in TCM virtual race events.
Choose your personal mileage goal. This includes any miles run (or walked) between August 1st and October 31st!
Track your miles and send them to us each week. Each mile brings us closer to our team goal of 1,000 miles!
As always, there is no fundraising requirement to join ACT's race team but sharing your sponsor page and reason for running with friends and family can help us reach our goal of $10 per mile run!
Help us spread the word! Let your friends know about our new running and walking opportunities! We have easy to share posts on both our Facebook and Instagram sites. Sign up at www.achievingcures.com/2020runningteam.

Our partners at the University of Minnesota Microbiota Therapeutics program are looking for donors!
Becoming a donor for a microbiota transplant helps restore dysfunctional microbiome to a healthy composition of gut microbes and has a 98% treatment success rate in patients suffering from c. difficile. The University of Minnesota’s Program is the only academic program manufacturing microbiota therapeutics and provides these capsules to clinical trials nationwide including current trials targeting Autism, Ulcerative Colitis, Liver Disease, and Parkinson’s Disease.
In order to be eligible to donate, you must be in perfect health, with no major health conditions, severe allergies, or prescription medications (with some exclusions such as birth control), and have not taken any antibiotics within the last 6 months.
Donors are paid for all study visits and donations. Additionally, the team has redesigned the program to allow donors to collect their sample at home and have a team member come pick it up in a low contact transaction. If you believe you or someone you know is eligible to donate, reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org!
